Nathaniel Berman is a professor at Brown University's Cogut Center for the Humanities and holds a PhD in Jewish Studies from University College London. His doctoral dissertation, entitled Improper Twins: The Ambivalent "Other Side" in the Zohar and Kabbalistic Tradition, focused on the demonic in kabbalah. Nathaniel teaches courses on law, nationalism, and religion.
